OUR LIFE-STYLE AND BODY

The Apostle Paul taught that the Holy Spirit delivers from the Power of the flesh.  Through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, the very life of Jesus Christ is brought into effect in our mortal bodies. As we yield ourselves to Him Jesus becomes in and through us the very fulfillment of the Law and Word of God.  And later, Paul tells us in a familiar passage in Romans 8:37 that “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us”.

We Christians are but steward over our physical bodies.  Many of us live defeated lives by yielding to the flesh, which seemingly has a will of its own.  In recognition of the challenge the flesh poses to the Christian life-style, Paul instructs us believers  to, “put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provisions for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof” Romans13:14.
Christians do not expect to receive citations for a life-style that is so different from that of the unsaved.  The believer’s life-style is his reasonable service. Our bodies are not ours to defile with willful acts of sins.
Below is a list compiled by MindBodyGreen of the …

Top 5 Regrets People Have on Their Deathbed

1. I wish I had more courage to be true to myself.  I wish I'd had the  courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me."

2. I wish I didn't work so hard. This came from every male patient nursed. They missed their children's youth and their partner's companionship.

3. I wish I could better express my feelings. Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others.  As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming.

4. I wish I stayed in touch with my friends. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships   the time and effort that they deserved. Everyone misses their friends when they are dying.

5.I wish that I had let myself be happier.

Perhaps if one were to life a life maintaining an attitude of gratitude, thanksgiving, and a life-style pleasing unto the Heaven Father, there will be no: "I wish I hadda shoulda"
7 Awesome Gratitude Quotes
By Jason Wachob

1. "Real life isn’t always going to be perfect or go our way, but the recurring acknowledgment of what is working in our lives can help us not only to survive but surmount our difficulties."                      -- Sarah Ban Breathnach

2. "Gratitude is when memory is stored in the heart and not in the mind." -- Lionel Hampton

3. "Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha

4. "Take full account of the excellencies which you possess, and in gratitude remember how you would hanker after them, if you had them not." -- Marcus Aurelius

6. "Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, and confusion into clarity... It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow." -- Melody Beattie

7. "When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears." -- Tony Robbins
