There's an aching in my heart and every now and then, I find myself tearing up. Yes, I'm shedding tears for our dearly beloved sister Whitney. On Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 3:55 p.m., God called one of his brightest stars home; Whitney Elizabeth Houston died and joined His heavenly choir.  She was His gift to us for 48-years.

A mother has lost her daughter; a daughter has lost her mother; a brother has lost his sister; a best friend has lost a shared/kindred part of her being; and we_well, we have lost our sister too.

Whitney was our sister in Christ.  We were more than fans weren't we?  When she sang to our Heavenly Father, we worshiped with her.  Her voice was a gift from heaven. There is no doubt in my mind that Whitney loved the Lord.
And I've prayed for her soul salvation.

Much has been speculated about the cause of her death, but after all is said, she is still gone. And knowing the cause will not change a thing.  Look friends, Whitney, like many of us, had trials and tribulations. The difference is her pain, struggles, and mishaps made headline news.  Did we pray for her?

I prayed for Whitney.  Oh, how I prayed for Whitney.  I prayed for her as if she were my kin.  However, I'm writing this blog to solicit your prayers. If you are not already, please pray for the child she left behind.  Pray that Bobbi Kristina's drug and alcohol struggles be bound from her 'whole' being.

Mother Cissy is a praying grandmother, and we can count on her being on her knees right now. But we know there is POWER in numbers.  There's almost always that question, "did we do enough?" We don't want to ask that about Bobbi Kristina.  So, why don't we join the millions who are celebrating Whitney's life, and do a little extra praying in the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT for her daughter's life.

Remember friends, this is spiritual warfare.

R. I. P. Whitney.  There is nothing but HALLELUJAH! in heaven. No more pain my Sister In Christ. For we know to be absent in the body is to be in the presence of the LORD.

I AM SADDEN BY THE TRAGIC DEATH OF YET ANOTHER GIFTED AND TALENTED CELEBRITY. THIS REENFORCES THE TRUTH OF THE WORD OF GOD THAT WE CAN'T SERVE TWO MASTERS. WE WILL EITHER LOVE THE ONE AND HATE THE OTHER, BUT WE CAN'T SERVE TWO MASTERS. TO LOVE THE WORLD WILL SEPARATE US OR ANYONE ELSE FROM GOD. THE POWER OF DRUGS, ADDICTIONS, AND SEXUAL STRONGHOLDS ARE REAL. THANK GOD FOR JESUS AND THE HOLY GHOST THAT EMPOWERS US TO BE MORE THAN CONQUERORS AND OVERCOMERS. THE SPIRIT INDEED IS WILLING BUT THE FLESH IS WEAK AND TO HAVE A STRONGHOLD AS POWERFUL AS ANY ADDICTION IS SERIOUSLY OVERWHELMING AND EVEN SO IN THE CHURCH , ITS TAKEN MEGA PASTORS SUCH AS 'ZACHARY TIMS' WHO WAS FOUND IN A HOTEL ROOM WITH A WHITE POWDER SUBSTANCE. WE ARE ALL SUBJECT TO FAILURE AND NO-ONE IS THE POSITION TO JUDGE WHITNEY HOUSTON. THIS IS TESTIMONY THAT WE ALL NEED TO PRAY WITHOUT CEASING. WE MISS YOU WHITNEY.

We fight not against flesh and blood, but principalities; so we must put on the WHOLE AMOUR OF THE LORD and fight those demons of the devil. Don't count Whitney out. The one who never left her side CHRIST CHRIST stepped in and told the devil...THIS IS MY CHILD You will not have her. Victory is yours Whitney

Those spirits were threatening to overcome our Whitney and our God stepped in. We are many was the name, GOD is GOD all by HISSELF. Our time is not His Time so we will not question, but celebrate her life and her gift to us...THAT VOICE!

We can't fight the principalities of this world alone. The devil is strong, but GOD is STRONGER. The heart is willing, but the flesh is weak; It takes us giving up self and a total surrendering to our CREATOR daily to defeat the devil and his demons. There is a scripture that we MUST NOT forget...John 10:10.

RIP Whitney. You will be sorely missed. She struggled with her personal demons, but from recent interviews, it is certain that she loved the Lord, and she knew that God loved her as evidenced by her beautiful rendition of "Yes Jesus Loves Me." We all fall short, but Jesus loves us unconditionally. Gone, but never forgotten.

Whitney, you are in my heart where you've always been. Memories will bring smiles when I think of you because now Jesus has you where there is no pain. It's all over now. Your Heavenly Father saw your suffering and sent His angels for you. When I hear the birds at my window, I'll say that would be Whitney.
